Valentine’s Day Package gets Regional Acclaim

This year CharlotteRising, in partnership with Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, is supporting a Valentine’s Day Package which is getting a lot of attention locally and regionally. This to-go package is a collaborative effort between 7 downtown businesses to give the best deal possible to encourage people to shop local this Valentine's season.  The $100 package includes a rose from Charlotte Plaza Floral, diamond earrings from Carl V Reck, a customizable cake for two from Red Rosie Bakery, and a choice of appetizer and two entrees from either Acapulco Mexican Grill, Thirsty Bird Bar and Kitchen, Eaton Pub and Grille, or Riedy’s Tavern. 

The original facebook post promoting this package has been seen by over 17,000 people in the greater Lansing area. Orders have come in from as far as Hastings to Battle Creek to DeWitt. This kind of regional attention has been great for downtown and other downtown organizations have reached out to CharlotteRising to ask how we were able to pull it together--and the answer is simple, we have business owners who not only care about their own success, but the success of their neighbors. Because of this it was easy to make this collaboration happen.
